Well, there’s no need. That is, if you’re using the mobile e-wallet GCash. This after the company has recently partnered with the government agency for easier access to civil registry documents.
In other words, there is no need to go to the PSA office, but the documents can be availed right on the app through five easy steps.

GCash Users Can Now Request PSA Documents via App
Fintech giant GCash has partnered with the Philippine Statistics Office this February 2026, this is for a feature that will allow e-wallet users to request documents from the agency through the application.
Documents referred are birth, marriage, and death certificates as well as CENOMAR and CENODEATH documents.
PSA National Statistician Usec. Claire Dennis Mapa has said securely requesting and paying for the documents will be done through the trusted digital platform. Mapa added that the partnership brings faster, more convenient public service to every Filipino wherever they may be.
Meanwhile, GCash VP and Head of Public Sector Cleo Celeste Santos said through these measures, they are helping more Filipinos participate in the digital economy and access the opportunities they deserve.

How to Order PSA Documents via GCash
The following are the five easy steps to order PSA documents inside the GCash application:
- Open the GCash application, then proceed to the GLife section
- Tap the icon of the PSA to access PSAHelpline.ph
- Select your order for the certificate you need
- Authorize, fill up details and confirm your order
- Proceed with payment and wait for your order

PSAHelpline: Alternative to GCash in Getting PSA Docs
No GCash account or you do not want to use the app to purchase civil registry documents? There is an alternative through the E-Certificate Service via PSAHelpline.ph.
To have your e-certificate, visit the psahelpline.ph website and click the order now button. Then, fill out the application form, input other information, pay using various payment channels, and complete the identity verification process.
An individual can apply for a certificate online and may get a soft copy within the day. The PSA has said that the issued certificates are authentic and carry the full legal weight of a traditional issued document.
Pilipinas Teleserv Managing Director Jun Yupitin said the digital copy is secured and is tamper-proof or is impossible to edit. Institutions and individuals can also verify the authenticity of the digital copies with the PSA.
Price for birth, death and medical certificates cost P290 each. On one hand, certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) and certificate of no death (CENODEATH) costs P345 each.
